Wonderful dark amber cut to clear glass vase with multiple shapes, some clear and some decorated with etched designs, enamel birds and patterns. The main design is two cut overlapping circles against a cut ribbon. In one circle there is an enameled Heron or egret, standing in a delicately etched pool of water with etched trees behind. The adjacent circle has an etched geometric pattern. The cut ribbon is etched and has an enameled design. There are four clear cut shapes with no decoration - 2 flowers, a leaf and another shape. There are two other decorated cut shapes, a circle and a larger ribbon? type shape. The circle has an enameled bird and etched leaves. The ribbon is enameled and etched.

A very interesting and unusual antique glass vase. Believed to be of French origin by one of the fine glass makers like Leveille, Rousseau, Auguste Jean or... Circa early 1900's.

Size: top 4" diameter; 6 3/8" high

Condition: glass - no damage; wear to enameled decoration - see pics; light haze at top of several shapes - this is on the outside not the inside - see pics

Original Manufacturers Flaws: bubbles
