Goddess of Liberty Milk Glass Oil Lamp, also known as the Jenny Lind lamp. This wonderful piece of history was made by Atterbury Glass, circa 1881. The stem of the lamp is a bust of a woman, classically draped, and wearing a wreath of laurel leaves. The step-back base is hexagonal in shape. The frosted glass bowl is attached with a brass fitter. The bowl has a leaf and flower design. The milk glass has a glossy smooth finish except for the face and the upper part of the hair, these have a stippled finish.

Size: 11 1/4" high

Condition: stress line inside of foot - see pics; shallow chip bottom edge; minor roughness edge of foot; oxidation on top brass piece - see pics; dirt residue in base of clear glass; residue of red paint - cleaned most off but there is still some
