An outstanding large Victorian era pedestal cake plate. The frosted pedestal is a hand holding the intricately patterned stem of the cake stand. By Hobbs, Brockunier & Co., circa 1879

Size: 10" inside rim diameter; 8 1/8" - 8 3/8" high (top of cake stand is a little higher on one side)

Condition: scratches from use, water marks - see pics

Original Manufacturers Flaws: bubbles, annealing marks
