Museum quality Hellmarmor vase from the Marmoriertes Series by Lotz. The scale of the vase is amazing at 12 1/4" tall; The coloration is gorgeous - the cased glass vase has swirling colors of white, pink and light brown. The glass resembles marble or semi precious stone. The top and bottom of the vase have an elaborate hand enameled Moroccan / Persian design. The hand enameled filigree lines painted over the stippled coraline background are a bright bronzy gold which shimmer in the light. Absolutely spectacular antique Loetz glass vase. Circa 1888-1889.
