Magnificent antique Bohemian Glass vase, circa 1870's, possibly by Moser glass. The scale of the vase is impressive at 16" high to the top of the handles. The decoration is outstanding with artfully hand painted polychrome enamel raised birds, flowers and leaves against a deep cobalt blue glass. The engraved handles are attached with a metal bolt. The bottom of the vase has an original paper label: " John Stonier, Dresden Rooms, 78 Lord Street, Liverpool " A superb, unique, piece of glass, Please see below for condition and size.
Size: top 6 1/4" diameter; 16" high to top of handles
Condition: stress crack on both sides of one handle extending appx 2 1/2" on each side - see pics; nick on one handle, sliver chip bottom of other handle - see pics; 3 painted dots missing on foot
Original Manufacturers Flaws: bubbles; inclusions of ash
Shipping: All glass is shipped double boxed so it should travel safely. Insurance is included in shipping.
